Paris Fashion Week Day 2
Me at the Issey Miyake show. photo by Stacy Jean
Day 2 at Paris Mens Week was off to an incredible start with a stunning showing from Issey Miyake. The palette was muted neutrals with vivid blue’s, purples and reds. Issey’s signature pant silhouette was heavily featured but cut a little shorter and in accordion and corrugated fabrics. There were lot’s of turtlenecks too, which I’m a big fan of at the moment. I loved the show and particularly this blue jumpsuit:
An interesting showing from Jean Paul Gaultier too. His collection featured a lot of brick print, which I don’t think I’ve seen anywhere before. His muse was a sort of a gangster dandy.
The last show of the evening was Henrik Vibskov – who I have worn quite a lot of in the past. I really liked the knits in this collection: really nice cardigans and sweaters.
I went to a few parties afterwards and ended the night at David Lynch’s impeccably designed club, Silencio.
